R4B College Writing

Anyone have any information on R4B College Writing? I chose this class, but I don't want a class that is extremely hard. I chose this class because I wish to improve my writing, but I am not confident enough in a really hard writing class.

Anyone know how hard this class is? Anyone have any info on who is better Oakes, CJ or Levine, J? I currently have Oakes, C J class on waitlist as the second person, is there any hope in getting in with a class size of 17?

Thanks

5188sui - the general rule of thumb for waitlists is that about 10% of the class size is the number that clear into the course. With a class of 17, 2 is right on the border.

Writing classes tend to not clear as many off the waitlist as general classes, based on some unscientific anecdotal observations.

Clearing could happen at any time even weeks into the fall semester. Best to have a fallback that you can attend, as well as attending sessions of your waitlisted class. Then, you can drop the fallback once you clear into your desired but waitlisted course.
