<p>Can anybody tell me how hard it is to get an RA position? Is a CA position easier? Can you apply for both a CA and RA position? How good do your grades need to be?</p>
<p>Most RA’s are upper classmen (Juniors and Seniors). A lot of CA positions are filled by sophomores. Many CA’s apply for RA positions after a year, and it certainly helps because you would have spent a year working closely with the housing directors and other RAs. Hope this helps.</p>
<p>You can apply for both. You rank your preference basically. But again, it’s competitive. One out of seven applicants received an offer this year. You need a 2.5 cumulative GPA to apply.</p>
