race issues?

hi i'm applying to boarding school for the fall '10 and i'm asian.
i was just wondering if there's like a lot of judgmental things about asians in boarding school?? like before people even meet you because i went on a visit and it sorta felt like that.
i also heard from a couple people that they wouldn't recommend boarding school because it is really cliquey?? i'm kinda worried
if people from different schools could answer this that would be great. lol i probably sound really stupid right now. :)

at every school, obviously there has to be a teensy weensy bit of discrimination (we’re all judgmental to an extent), but i doubt it’d be truly noticeable… a lot of these schools are extremely diverse in ethnicity, so if you’re really nervous about racism, try to go for the more diverse schools? i know that exeter’s like, 1/5 asian.

Don’t worry, when most people go on a tour they feel as if people are staring at them and judging them, so don’t worry.

Honestly every school has its cliques no matter where it is.

Also as an asian you probably won’t come across a lot of issues having to do with your race, because at boarding school there are like a ton of asians. But then again I may be wrong since i’m not asian and I don’t know what its like.
