Race on the College Application

<p>I have everything set, but I'm kind of puzzled about the race section of the application.</p>

<p>My dad is Middle Eastern (+ Persian) and my mom was born in Nigeria (moved here when she was 2).</p>

<p>My dad says he just puts white on any forms that ask for race.</p>

<p>Should I just put African American / Black or should I also include White? How will it affect my chances / how adcoms will view me?</p>

<p>Just put whatever you feel you identify with more. I’m not sure how it will factor in, but I will say there is barely any diversity here so it won’t hurt to put anything other than white.</p>
