I was watching the olympics ladies figure skating, and the commentators said that rachael flatt had been accepted into stanford...wow. likely letter? because on her twitter she says she was notified on feb 16

Yeah… she had a major project for school due soon but she felt sorry that her friends were working really hard on it, so she didn’t even ask the teacher to extend the deadline for her. She’s a real hard worker both academically and on the ice… the type that Stanford likes

She seems really down to earth, too. Wonder if she’ll come? I hope that just enough people recognize her that it doesn’t get overwhelming, though. I can’t imagine trying to have a college experience and being, say, Emma Watson.

^yeah I would say she’s much more obscure than emma. only people who watched the olympics would remember her, since she didnt medal

i heard that she will def be attending stanford
i guess i was misinformed

who?? someone famous? my fave tennis player is azarenka, that biotch is hilarious

dammit…that means there’s one less spot open for the RD round…ugh

am I the only one who had to google this person? lol

^lol, if you hadn’t watched the figure skating competition, I guess you’d have to

Stanford, in general, tends to gravitate toward the athletic type. Rachael Flatt. Tiger Woods. Michelle Wie. John Elway. Kerri Walsh. How many top athletes have come out of…say…Harvard? Hmmmm…
