I noticed a couple of people asked about racism in other threads, and their questions went unanswered. So, what's the deal? What's the experience for minorities?

Maybe they went unanswered b/c racism isn't prevalent at TAMU?

I'm not a minority, but I don't ever witness/notice racism. Even though TAMU isn't the most diverse place to go, there are all kinds of ppl here that are accepted into the Aggie family. TAMU may rarely have occurrences of racism, but unfortunately at any school with 40,000+ ppl you are gonna have a mix of racists in the bunch.

Agreed.

I also was wondering what kind of effect the new president might have on diversifying the campus. I saw her interviewed recently on "Texas Monthly Talks."

Blah, seriously..if you show the same Aggie Pride as everyone else, it won't matter what you are.
