lol this is funny

MSM stands for the mainstream media.

My school had a sports tournament recently and each team signed up and picked a name for themselves. Just to let everyone know, my state is a border state for this country. Well anyways, one of the teams called themselves the illegals and dressed up like mexicans with spanish attire, etc. They also had leaf blowers and yardwork equipment. Just to top it off, they made a huge sign like 6' by 8' that had the words written THE HOME DEPOT on it. I was shocked they let them in with the equipment and the name. I found it somewhat offensive and hard to believe that the administration let it go on.

This article made me laugh.

Add this to the mountain of evidence that a university education has become part of our service based economy. Pay your admission, we’ll baby sit you for a few years. Then, we’ll release you into the world with a few hundred hangovers under your belt.

Good luck finding those sports management jobs, kids!

"I understand why you would get defensive when people bring up the reality of White privilege. You didn’t enslave anyone, You don’t hold any overtly racist attitudes, You don’t support colonialism. So why should all your accomplishments and hardships in life be trivialized by this PC concept that maybe White people have it easier in a White-dominated country?

It’s not an easy concept to accept unless you’ve been a minority yourself, and everywhere you go, there’s always this crippling doubt in the back of your mind that people are judging you by your race. It’s perhaps the most disenfranchising (I don’t know if this is the right term) thing a person can go through because there is absolutely nothing you can do about your race, and all the historical baggage that comes with it. The most you can hope for is that in your meager lifetime, you can maybe make a little change in whatever ugly stereotype is attached to your racial persuasion. White privilege absolves you of all that. It’s not so much having something as it is not having to deal with something."

although this thread is old, well-said, sir.

Why would you bump this?

Because like he stated, it made him laugh. Wow I though this occurred recently but then I saw a users comment and checked the dates. Pretty racist but considering it was an idea brought upon by a Latino student then I guess it was OK. On the other hand if it had been out of poor hate and plain old racism by white students then I suppose the media had the right to blow it up as much as it did. I don’t really hear of Hispanics making fun of white people and I hate how people, especially whites, that from the beginning they don’t have a more privileged life to begin with. Of course they do. How many Minority Presidents have their been? 1. how many none? Too many. White people allow minorities to obtain high positions so we’ll stay quiet but they don’t offer as much opportunity as a white kid would have.

I can’t believe I posted this. I don’t remember it at all. lol
