Hi all :)
I'm pulling together my package (learning how to write a CV, the in's and out's of a good cover letter, etc) for the RADA Musical Theatre workshop in August, and I wanted to know if anyone had been through this program before. I would love any suggestions or advice as far as what the admins are looking for, suggestions for audition pieces (I'm a mezzo with a classical background -- tons of art songs and arias but will they fly?), things like that.
Actually, any feedback about the school would be helpful!
Thanks so much!!

I did the RADA summer acting program many, many years ago (Nixon resigned while I was in London!), so I can't give you any current information, but I will say that it was a life-changing experience. I hope you have the opportunity to attend.

You might try posting this on the Musical Theatre majors' forum - posters there are very active, and might be able to give you some good tips.

By the way, after my summer at RADA, I decided not to become a professional actor, as I realized how very much I had to learn. Went home, changed my major, and ended up working behind the camera for many years.

Good luck!
