Well, I've heard all sorts of things about SSMU Frosh and the different faculty froshes (I'm in arts!) and I've heard of something else, called "radical frosh" but I can't seem to find any information about it. The website doesn't have any information, at least as far as I have searched, and they didn't mention it when I visited the school for one of the "campus connect" events. I was just curious about it, and I wanted to get more information and see if it is something that would interest me. I don't really know much about it - I was just wondering if anyone had any information.

thanks!

Radical Frosh is basically Frosh with a social activist spin to it. They take you to the poor neighbourhoods like Point-Saint-Charles and St-Henri and talk about stuff like the experience of First Nations (Native Canadians) in Montreal.

It's much less party-ish than the normal Frosh. Also, there's very much a political bent to it (basically, everything they discuss centres around topics espoused by [url=www.quebecsolidaire.net/]Qu

thank you for such an informative reply! That definitely sounds like something I am interested in.

Let me guess... Lord of The Rings fan?

haha yup... how ever did you guess- its not like its in my username or anything :-P

Yeah, just a hunch I guess. :p

it might not be something I'm directly into, but at this point, it has a great chance at beating out the drunken sex-fest that is Le Frosh.
