Ok, I'll get my tails starched and be over in the morning. I get the Green Hornet reference, by the way.

I hear Bolsheviks with trust funds are welcome at Brown

Reed resembles tree-hugging Civic-hybrid communists in a classical Hummer curriculum.

Is there an opposite with clear-cutting Navigator anarchists in a modern Prius curriculum?

Depends on how you differentiate communism among Marxism, Leninism, Trotskyism or even Stalinism...

but anyway, you really can't go wrong in the most liberal city in the country...also UC Santa Cruz is extremely liberal (arguably more so than Cal per se).

Did the poster just put marxists and anarchits together in the same sentence? In theory, why would the poster imply he agrees with these two opposite forms of extremism (off the charts left and off the charts right), theoreticaly speaking. Interesting. If the poster truly was an anarchist or believes in anarchy, why would he attend any state sponsor of education. This is to strange. If he was a communist, the very idea of an elite private school would horrify him. Why does everyone have to pretend to support stupid radical ideas like communism and anarchy to be cool or fit in. 99% of these people pretending to like extreme ideologies such as these, in reality, would never never wish these forms of governance, or un-governance uppon themselves if they felt their occurence was truly a realistic possibilty.

Pitzer college

I’m all in for

1) heavy, heavy taxes for the rich
2) more government support for the needy
3) Women’s right to choose
4) total separation of state & church
5) making all universities free for all students

Btw, is Ralph Nader going to run again in 08?

Oberlin (I currently go here) and Warren Wilson for sure. Lethal Lurker, I share your political beliefs. I also looked at Beloit and Pitzer. But some larger, and more urban schools will also have their radical leftist contigent (AU, and I'm sure plenty of schools in the Boston area).

You're pretty much a socialist then. Unless you support the gov't owning all of the land, then you'd be a commie.

Most of western Europe is socialist, though the U.S. doesn't like to use that label.

As for separation of church and state, Germany looks strange to Americans. The state collects Church Tax for distribution to churches, but church and state do not recognize each other's weddings.

Evergreen. It's inexpensive, too, and is in a great community, with lots of activity. The academic program is also very much self-driven.

Wellesley is very liberal, but a women's college.

Reed. Smith if you're a woman. Berkeley but it's really big and too diverse, so nevermind. The area kicks, though

Reed. Berekely isn't the bastion of liberalism that it used to be.

Absolutely, positively, Reed.

Gotta love Reed!!! :)

except the hefty price tag!!!

Yeah, 43k. But the average financial aid package is 27k.
