Radically Liberal

What are some colleges that are EXTREMELY liberal. I know most colleges are somewhat liberal, but i am talking about colleges that have lots of people who protest for the sake of protesting...any known colleges?

Berkeley is notorious in that way I believe

Bard College in New York and Brown in Rhode Island are very, very liberal colleges.

I think Berkeley just has that image left over from the 60's and 70's, when it was at the center of the war protest. The only thing that maintains that image is that in a school with such a large population, you are bound to get a couple vocal activists or radical environmentalists and the like. But you get that at a lot of massive schools like that.

If your looking in California, UC Davis and Humboldt State have very environmentally aware student bodies.

Evergreen :p

I think you'll find that at many state schools. Of course you can't label all of say the University of Illinois or the Univrsity of Michigan as liberal, they are big enough that there are enough like-minded students to form protests over issues that might not generate the same level of interest at smaller schools.

Bard, Sarah Lawrence, Swarthmore. Peas in a pod. Good schools with liberal/radical students.

Oh, Evergreen! My daughter told me that students were protesting when Seventeen magazine came to campus a few years ago to do a photo shoot on what college kids were wearing around the country.
