raise a 690 math sat to a 750+?

is that possible? what do i need to get? i've allready done blue book so thats done.

No its impossible

What? I think it's very do-able. Just not in.. one-sitting.
Try to go for 710, then 730, then perhaps 750.

My first diagnose test (one year ago) was around 430. My recent one was 730. (although this score is probably not that accurate since it's adminstered by TPR) But STILL, I think it's possible.
I remember reading this somewhere "SAT rewards these who are motivated".

I vote that it's very possible....my math score last october was a 660, and I raised it another sixty points this past june, and I know that once I learn how to work out the two questions I skipped (and stop making stupid mistakes), mine will go up to an 800. Good Luck! :)

Yes, definitely possible. Even in one sitting. Just study SAT math problems until you are very familiar with the way they are presented.

Yes, very possible especially since the difference between a 690 and 750 is approx. 3-4 questions. I went from a 710 on my first SAT to an 800 on my second.

What did you do to prepare, Icedragonad?

Just practice and it will naturally go up.

Math is the easiest to prepare for. Take practice tests and look over answers.

:)

Don't worry, it's just a matter of concentration and a great dose of luck as well. I raised my math from 610 to 700 to 760 with no studying towards math at all (verbal was my weakness). In my experience, it just so happened to be what kind of questions were on the SAT but I can tell you that I glanced over the 10 real SATs book and I suggest you familiarize yourself with those math problems. They should cover just about every math topic despite varying numbers.

No, its not. Stop lying.

I think its very much possible! a 690 means that u already know the subject matter to a gud extent. So just keep on practicing and try to avois careless errors. That should do it.
Best of luck!

Writing is the easiest to prepare for. Then it's math.

I do hope you know I was just kidding. You said "is it possible?" Of course it is, anything is possible. However it depends a lot on what kind of 690 you are getting. By that I mean, is it 690 because of careless mistakes or because you arent that good at math but you are very carefull. As for doing it in "1 sitting", Id love to see that happen. Maybe a 24 hour sitting...

i got a 690 from mostly stupid mistakes i suppose and then like 2 i left blank cause i just didn't kno how to do them

Flipsta_G, Nothing...

Any score above 700 has the potential to raise or lower significantly with just a few more questions right or wrong.

this is random but does sleep the night before have anything to do with the test? i only slept like 2 hours the night before because of my dance recital being the night before. If i do nothing, will my score raise if i just simply sleep a full night?

anything is possible if you try hard enough. you can even reach 800. well... if you are smart and hardworking, which i am sure you are

I got a 650 on the math the first time Itook it (the old one)
but like 6 months later, I got an 800 (new one)

what should i use to increase my score?
