Raise score by HALF a point.

Here were my last scores:

English - 33
Math - 25
Reading - 31
Science - 24

This will be my 4th time taking it and I keep increasing EXCEPT for Science. I honestly have gotten a 24 for EVERY test. So really, that needs improvement most. I haven't taken the ACT since Oct and I'll be taking it in April. Very nervous. My score is a 28 and I just need a 28.5 to be rounded up to a 29 so I can get 100% Bright Futures. Please help! Any tips? Strategies? Preparation advice? I feel like I've gone through every book. Study plan?

Instead of taking multiple times, why don’t you delay your ACT until you practice more and achieve the higher score? Review your prep books again and analyze what you did incorrectly and what you did correctly. If you use all prep books available and are still getting a low score, you’re just skimming over the problems.

For math check your calculator. You should be using a Ti-84 Silver or whatever the highest spec one allowed is. Download some ACT programs onto it.

For Science, read questions and answers first, then look at the charts.
