Raising a 31

Right now I have a 31 on the ACT with a 27 in english 35 in math 33 in reading and 28 in science. I obviously need to work on my english and science scores. What would be a good book for someone who already has a good score? I already know all the basics pretty much so I don't need a book that concentrates on things someone with a 21 would need to do to improve. I hope to get up to a 33 and will also be taking the writing test this time.

I started with a 31 and ended with a 35. You can do it!

I recommend “The Real ACT” red book for practice. Honestly, practice makes perfect. English was my worst section the first time I took it, and it ended up being my best. Also, think of the science test as you would a reading test. If you’re getting a 33 in reading, I’m sure you can up your science score as well.

Is red book is the only book you used to increase your score from 31 to 35? Red book only has 5 practice tests. so when you say practice makes perfect, do you practice tests from red book several times? Can you provide some clarity on this? If you repeat tests, don’t you get familiar with the content and answers? which will not be the case when you take the real ACT test; This may mislead you in where you stand.
