hi guys. i took the ACT 3x. (National in April, State in April, National in June) and scored a 28 all three times! I just want to break into the 30's. I've prepped a lot, took a course, but nothing has been changing. I guess I should focus on my science score-- it's also been a 24 all 3 times. How do I raise that? Tips?

Have you tried the princeton review 1296 act questions? I’ve heard it’s fantastic for practice but NOT for strategy. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m going to this summer and see how it goes in September. That’s all I’ve got :)

Science scores for me:
March 2009:34 (no preparation)
June 2009: 31
My strategy has generally been to look at the graphs as I answer the questions, while only reading the description of experiments when information cannot be determined from simply looking at the graphs. Doing this gives me time to complete the section comfortably. Just know what to look for and perhaps take a few practice tests to get familiar with a strategy and getting in the 30s, possibly even just off of improvement science, is quite doable.
