<p>I am getting ready to be a junior in high school and my SAT scores are extremely low (math: 520 CR: 410 Writing:530 Essay:10) Do u think it is possible to get my math and writing up to around a 650+ and my reading to about a 600+? It is very intimidating seeing all of these 700's and 800's on this website lol, but since im a junior, I have around a year to get my scores up. Do you think i can get my scores up to a 1900-2000 in a 1 year time period?</p>
<p>Yeah, it’s definitely possible. You can start by memorizing some vocab. words; I recommend DirectHits Vol 1&2. You should also check out prep books such as RocketReview and Barron’s 2400 b/c they have many good test taking strategies and tips. Also, Grubers can help you with math (although don’t try to use it for CR or W). After you’ve done these, you should probably do a lot of practice tests from BB. Just make sure you actually review the questions you got wrong to see WHY you got they wrong. Good Luck- it’s definitely possibly to get up to 1900-2000.</p>
<p>if you have the time and money, a private tutor can be very helpful. I had one, and they really focus on your induvidual strengths and weaknesses. It can be rigorous on top of other school work, but i really recommend it</p>
