Just wondering, do any of the schools you go do random drug testing.

Mine does.

It truly is random; this kid I know has been tested three times, and he's a straight-A+ student, as in was crying (not literally) over a 92 on a CRAZY hard test we had. This boy also wears sweater vests and bowties.

Funny how they don't actually test the people who should be tested.

Do you go to a private of public school?

Ha, I'm not even sure. I think they have random drug testing solely for athletics though. Because, you know, if the kids in band are doing drugs, it doesn't matter. ;P

Suburban public high school.

They test everybody who does anything extracurricular or in any clubs.

Yes, they do it.

not at my school

mine does...has a crazy weed problem. Public suburban. Was nationally recognized for the problem :) Good school though.

no, we've never had random drug testing

At a public school wouldn't that be a violation of the limited rights we have as students.

I go to public and never imagined drug tests.

naw dude those are the tru G ya betta watch yo neck cuz underneath that vest dat dude got like 6 glocks

he just keeps his hustlin to da streetz

Yesssss, not random though. It's absolutely ridiculous. Apparently my school is the worst in the district. EVERY student gets breathalized before entering a school event.

We have it for kids in extracurriculars. Which makes no sense, because aren't the kids NOT doing EC's the ones spending their time getting high?

Anyways, drug testing is unconstitutional. The only reason it's legal is because school-related EC's are not a right, they're a privilege. So schools can test you. It's still unconstitutional.

Not sure about actual testing but on one or two occasions we've had random checks by drug dogs in the hallways...

Mine doesn't thank god.

mine does drug checks, lmfao it was hilarious. in the middle of the period we were outside in the hallway filming a scene for this funny movie we're making for French, so the scene is like a girl walks down the hallway to her locker, opens the locker, is looking for her gym shoes and can't find them so starts throwing stuff out of her locker and panicking.
so as this is going on suddenly we see this police officer come around the corner with a HUGE dog hahaha. and my friend was the girl and she was freaking out cause the dog was coming straight at her and we weren't usign her locker, we were using a friend's locker....whose boyfriend has def done some stuff before and puts his jacket in this girls locker. hahaha. and we got it all on film =P

oh and btw the movie is a modern take on fairytales. so the one fairytale we were filming at the time was Cinderella. she loses one of her metallic silver gym sneakers and needs it cause otherwise she fails gym, and Prince Charming finds it hehe.

My high school hasn't done any checks, but we had a few in middle school. They'd put us on lockdown for what seemed like forever. while the drug dogs sniffed the lockers.

Nope, but we have drug dogs come in about once a month.

Yeah, we also had drug dogs come. They had a drug testing 'study', where people volunteered to be tested (yes, the drug-users are going to volunteer, always), and randomnly had their names drawn, at which time they could say whether or not they wanted to be tested. Needless to say, the 18 out of 170 people who went through with the testingwere negative. Ergo, our town can now say they have 100% drug -free student body.

at one school ive been to they dont do anything. at another they bring drug dogs on ocasion
