(Also ask to guess where your from)

Maybe Maine ( doubt West Virginia)

(Also ask to guess where your from)

Maybe Maine ( doubt West Virginia)

I think the schools the person applied to were good journalism schools in major cities. So NYU, Northeastern, George Washington, Georgetown, and maybe Tufts, BC and BU.

Alright, my topic failed. Only a handful of you have mentioned my first choice or other schools that I was serious about.

Hint: City as in MAJOR city. Not like, Ann Arbor, or Durham. Or Ithaca! Every single school that I applied to was in a major urban center.
Hint #2: I was interested in Northeastern but my mom wouldn’t even let us stay for the tour because it’s “not a good school” (her words, not mine!). I didn’t really apply to schools that are less selective, except for two safeties.

Is it terrible that I felt a tiny bit hurt that one of you thought I couldn’t get into Cornell?

Another hint, or rather, just an emphasis on something that I already kind of stated: no LAC’s for me.

Haha!

You wrote back on your other CC username accidentally…that spoils the answer :(

If…Sugar Magnolia and the OP are the same person…

epic fail.

lol, Sugar Magnolia, that was more than just a hint.
does that mean I win (sort of)? I was the 1st to mention UPenn.

Hmm…Guessing here, but…
Legacy at Penn, your first choice, and you got in. You would have enhanced your chances by applying ED, but then you wouldn’t have a long list of acceptances because you would have had to pull your applications. Penn has all of the attributes you mentioned.
No go on Columbia due to core.
NYU, Barnard, Georgetown, Boston University, George Washington all fit the bill.

^
okay, now I look stupid. I actually posted BEFORE the preceding posts and the extra clues.

:(

If OP made a flaw… I always thought of guessing University of Pennslyvania, until I came to the understanding that OP said a city where many really really wanted to be. I must say, Philadelphia isn’t really a desirable place to live ( or at least my opinion) but it is one to visit, very historical.

It was time for OP to release the answers anyway, very logical.

LOL I FAIL SO HARD I FAIL SO HARD. Haha I’m half laughing and half… not believing that I did this because I’m never the one to do completely dumb ****.

This is the part where I don’t show my face on CC for another few weeks.

Chocobok kind of wins. Some of you touched on Northwestern, NYU, GW, GU, and Georgetown so give yourselves a pat on the back.

Yes, Coolbrezze, I was intentionally doing my reveal.

Haha wow I have my school right under my username and everything and was totally clueless. This is the most epically that I’ve ever failed.

Dude you got me becasue when you said hands on practical real world experience with academics, and philanthropy/journalism i thought for sure you were speaking of Northeastern. You def fooled me = (

So can we know the bonus, where you were from? I’ll assume it’s not Maine ( and doubtly West Virginia) since you would have pointed that out, I’m now curious with my assumption.

Good university your attending, must of had stellar grades.
