Jos A Bank is not a joke. Their seersucker is amazing. FRAT.

2.DIOR
3.Baby Phat
4. J. Lo
5. Abercombie

out:
Boss (not fresh enough any more)
the whole Armani line (too eurotrash)
Banana Republic (San Fran IT nerds trying to be chic)
Gap (too big/lowest common denominator)
Kenneth Cole (used to be good, now a bit gawdy)
J Crew (used to be good, now a bit too square)
Brooks Bros (kind of in no man's land now, not classic enough or modern enough)

in:
Vintage stuff
Zara (very fresh stuff, nice cuts, dirt cheap)
H&M (sometimes great sometimes bad, and they change their merchandise every month)
small local independent stores
Fink's at Urban Outfitter (great pants and shorts)

never got into:
Abercrombie (too old for that)

Armani, Cole, Brooks, Crew, Banana are certainly not out.

What I wear:
j crew, lacoste, express, polo, nautica, banana republic, french connection uk, gap, tommy hilfiger, dkny, af, ae, north face, nike, reebok and maybe some other stuff that i cannot think of right now.

my main store right now is Express mens.
i used to shop at hollister but it feels so childish now, and i dont really like the clothes there anymore with the exception for a few jeans.
A&F once in a while, because its overpriced now.
AE never. i wipe my ass with AE.

if i had money i would add AX, Diesel, to the list. but i dont have that kinda money right now. maybe when i grow up and make good money but not now.

Diesel's good stuffs.

I can't stand Express and Armani Exchange. It's such new jersey, ny borough trash.

What do you guys think about the polos with the oversized embroidered logo? Trendy or trashy?

The Big Pony? Eh.... I can't decide.

"I can't stand Express and Armani Exchange. It's such new jersey, ny borough trash."

LOL. what does that even mean?

it means that people who wear armani exchange and express look like they're from New Jersey and Queens.

fudgemaster: big logos are stupid and childish in my opinion.

I don't like AX, express or diesel. Probably because everyone I know who wears those brands are cocky idiots. I don't like diesal/seven/etc. because you can get much higher quality stuff for the same price from other labels.

What's your higher quality stuff? Are you part of the dry/selvage craze?

Kinda. I was kinda into it before the "craze" started. It was big in korea/japan way before mainstream brands like Dior Homme etc. started making it popular. Eternal, 45 RPM, Sugarcane, Samurai, Ironheart, Pure Blue Japan.....most of the denim is about 120-160 bucks which is about the same price as a good pair of diesel jeans. I'm no denimhead but I just know I can get better for the same price.

Jonathon K since when did you change your user name? I didnt know you could do that. And now you like Abercrombie?

Abercrombie is ok i guess. I couldn't think of a fifth brand so I just used that lol. I have a few t shirts from there.

Yeah.. I changed my screen name. I think that having my last initial was a little too specific for a public forum lol

Anyone like Ben Sherman? I just got some nice shoes from them
