From what I have seen, it seems like the people with a favorite band are the ones that own 2 cds. Nothing wrong with that, I was just pointing something out.

I have seen this too. Don't bag on someone for stating their observation.

HOW COULD I FORGET MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!!! Shame, shame on me.

"Say what you want about the scandal, but the music is scandal proof."

Sorry! I just looked at iTunes and copied everything I like. I guess it's a lot!

a little late on this, but...

Sinatra, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, N.E.R.D., Michael Jackson, Mariah Carey, The Beatles, The Stones, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Alicia Keys, and John Mayer.

i know for sure i'm leaving people out. i'm really old school, but i liksten to all types of music (as cliche as that sounds).

and for the person who said that the people who have favorite artists tend to have one or two cds, i'm not sure how you can make that generalization even if you know a few people like that. i'm sure you eat all different types of food, but you have some that you eat more of or prefer over others. myself and mostly everyone else i know has more albums by one artist than by others, but it doesn't mean we limit ourselves.

just my 2 cents.
