Basically Columbia or bust for me. I'm considering a career in drug trafficking if it doesn't work out.

harvard .

Great safety

penn engineering for me.

Well I applied to U of Chicago EA, but I'm also applying to Yale, Cornell, Brown, and UPenn RD, then I have like 7 safeties lol.

In all honesty NYU or Fordham. Like I said in the location forum, it's about the city.

meh no biggie. My second choice would be either Harvard, Yale or Stanford

You applied EA and ED?

I thought Columbia didn't allow people to apply to another school.

My #2 is NYU BPE <3

2 is Dartmouth---it's a reach, along with Harvard, Princeton and Cornell

I have 1 "good fit" school: SUNY Geneseo... but we'll see because the SUNY schools are supposed to be incredibly overburdened this year from the economy. Or so it's predicted anyway.

I have 1 safety: Syracuse (...but both my parents went there, so...)

EA is non-binding, Columbia allows you to apply to as many other non-binding programs as you want to, it isn't restrictive early.

my safety is bu...i should probably get another one too.
but i wont be completely devastated if i dont get into columbia cuz im equally in love with upenn....ill only be depressed if i dont get into upenn regular decision and curse myself for not doing upenn ED. but i interned at upenn over the summer and i have a recommendation from a professor...so hopefully that will help me in the admissions process....

don't worry anna my only safety is bu as well...

my second choice is a three way tie between BC Brown and UChicago
uh oh

Yeah, I applied EA to UChicago too. But my second choice is Northwestern. I love the location and the school.

yay for bu as our only safety!

my safety is rutgers, lol. or maybe nyu.

omgsh! im so excited to see other columbians doing bu! thats like a safety and maybe like 4th or 5th on my list? but brown is my def second choice, although no college can ever compare to columbia!!!!!!!!!!
.... so wed better all get in!

my safety is UT austin which i'm pretty much already accepted under 10%rule

then everything else is high reach just like Columbia

Second choice is definitely Carnegie Mellon or Imperial College London :)

i already wrote that my 2nd choice is upenn
but id definitely be super happy if i got into my other reach schools as well.
its just like upenn and columbia are my top 2.
but i love brown/yale as well.
i dont really like harvard or princeton that much though.
cornell and dartmouth are my least favorites...i dont even see them as great schools...dunno why.
