I was hanging with my friend the other day (we're both incoming freshman) who said that his school had free condoms available at the health center or whatever. Does anyone know if NU have free condoms available at the health services center?

1.) You didn’t have to tell us you were freshman - the subject matter gives you away. :)

2.) If you’re hawt enough to need them, you already have them.

3.) Having Fun With Condoms: Tell your friend(s) the ones they gave you are too damn small - you need to Special Order yours X-Large.

-_- awesome… helpful…

They’re available free from NU Shape, on the third floor of Norris outside the Rainbow Alliance office (turn left out of the elevators, then the first right), and you’ll be given some at orientation at the “don’t rape people” session. I also suggest that you buy some online if you think you’ll need them- in stores they can be >$1/unit, but online you can get better product for less than $0.25/unit. www.condomdepot.com is my recommendation. Split an order with your friends or your roommate if you don’t need that many.

Also, don’t be so optimistic. Sex is great, but you should probably not be having it with people you’ve only met within a week. Maybe worry about this a little bit later into school.

I thought they had them in vending machines at the larger dorms, such as Bobb and Allison? Is that not the case?

I never lived in either, but I can find out.

you’re totally right arbiter. it’s more of a IF it happens i don’t want to be like NOOO *** NO CONDOMS. but seeing as how they have expiration dates… but whatever, i point to my username.

i also found that they might be offered at the searle health center? and i also heard about the vending machines in allison and bobb but i’m not sure if they still have them.

but okay. i shan’t worry about them now.

If you often use the word shant in conversation, you’ll have very little to worry about.

^
This.
All of this.

I lol’d

LOL. A good deal of life is about consequences, you are looking for
“free” rubbers. Rec-- go to Walmart, buy them in bulk cutting your
cost per use. My youngest is applying to college this year. ah, let’s
see the $'s I’ve spent-- and, you worry about free condoms. LOL!

Common sense. Hah, breed on your terms!

Not sure what school those teasing you for using the word “shant” went to - grammar and fancy (or, at least, antiquated) words are appreciated by many an available Wildcat lady. Don’t worry about that one.

But yeah, you can get them for free as detailed above. SHAPE also puts them in dorms every once in a while. We had a big box of packs with condoms, a mint, and I think a little pamphlet sitting in our lounge, but one of our residents was also a SHAPE counselor. But they hold meetings/movies/etc. all the time, and I’m sure they have 'em there, if you find you want to…I don’t know, squirrel them away?

They also sell them super overpriced in the C-Stores. Have fun with that one.
