im still applying to colleges as a high school student, and i was wondering if i wanted to transfer out after my 1st semester in college, whether or not my high school gpa will be factored in, i kinda want a new start cause my high school gpa was uberlow

if ur high school gpa is uberlow, apply to enter as a junior transfer. You will prob be flat out rejected if u apply for anything earlier. I know that if you have a very strong high school record and very good SAT scores, it is smart to apply to enter as a sophmore as your high school stuff is still weighted pretty heavily.

well uberlow as in prolly around 3.4ish by the end of senior year

o, that's not that bad. You can then apply after a year, I think and be fine if you pull some good grades in college.

3.4 is a very decent GPA! It's considerably higher than mine was (I was around a 3.2) at the end of High School. A lot is going to depend the school you want to transfer to.
