Does it look like you're trying too hard if you type homework assignments and stuff instead of writing them out by hand?
I prefer to type everything whenever possible because my handwriting is pretty bad and typing is faster, but I don't want to be the female equivalent of "that guy."

Most teachers will probably love you if you type out your stuff, it actually shows that you care and you didn’t do the assignment the night before. And if anybody asks, just say that you have a terrible handwriting. Make a joke about it. That being said, typing out fill-in-the-blank science worksheets and the answers to math homework is probably a little much.

Math was what I was thinking of, though…I’m taking a number theory class where we have to do these long ass proofs and it’s just easier to type them.

It should be fine. You’re a math major right? I would think that eventually you’re going to be required to have to type up your homework anyway (LaTeX) - might as well get used to it.

I intend to be, but right now I’m technically in high school.

(I’ll have to learn LaTeX eventually, but I suck at computer stuff so for now I’m just using this mathematical add-in for Word I downloaded.)
