In college, are grades shown on the report cards as A, B, C, etc? Or do they do them by percentages?

They do them by GPA.

Some schools do this:

A-4.0
B-3.0
C-2.0

well I was asking the question because I'm taking a course at my local community college and wanted to know how they graded their couses. I know they don't do it by the GPA thing. but do any colleges give percentages on report cards?

anyone????????

If you already know then why ask? He already answered your question. Based on my own personal experience, the community colleges goes by GPA but they also report your letter grade. In state colleges, they have C- and such which equates to 1.7 (GPA), etc.

I don't know if they give it on letter grades or percent grades. And that was my question.

My school puts letter grades and the GPA (UCSC). The scale is A(+/-), B(+/-), C(+), D, F (or Pass/No Pass).
