I LOVE having the mosquito spray for the yard. I am serious mosquito bait and would get eaten alive EVERY DAY just going out onto the deck to water my tomato plants. Now not only can I water them in peace, but I can actually sit out not he deck and enjoy the sunshine. What a blessing!
Two words: hummingbirds and bats. They eat up mosquitoes around where we live. We try to make our yard very inviting for these natural mosquito busters. I feel the pain of those who are being eaten alive by the blasted buggers!
My friend’s H makes a product he’s trying to get approved that really keeps mosquitoes from biting. It’s a bracelet and no repellent chemicals touch your body. I and some others have enjoyed using the product.
I bought too much dill and parsley. Can I freeze herbs?
Dill can be flash-frozen for sure!
What’s the difference between flash-frozen and regular old, you know – ummm – frozen?
Different question. I have used an online service that helps you reserve the cheapest available car in what ever category you choose. They will even notify you if something even less expensive arises.
Does anyone know the name of this company/website?
I’m planning to rent a car to be in the vicinity of the birth of my first grandchild!!!
It may be auto… (something)
You quickly find out the difference when you go to thaw.
A very simplistic explanation: Freezing you throw stuff in a container or a freezer bag and hope for the best. Flash-freezing, you freeze for a short time uncovered (and in the case of things like dill, spread out on perhaps a baking sheet). Then you take out of the freezer and package to go back in the freezer.
Is it Autoslash?
I just use Kayak myself and also search through my car insurer, USAA, and Costco. USAA is always cheapest for me.
I just remembered. I love Kayak for many travel needs, but the company I was thinking of is auto slash. It’s really helpful!!!
Just a tip- when I can’t remember a company I’ve used, I often can find it in my past emails, when they confirmed a reservation.
Could you please go onto Jeopardy? I’m pretty sure there isn’t a topic you wouldn’t know!
Well, my decadence in the kitchen is a 25,000 BTU Wok built in. I was a vegetarian cook when we built. Now I wonder if new buyers will think it is good or bad when we put the house on the market.
You can cook non-vegetarian things as well as vegetarian things in a wok.

I would think it was really cool! But I also don’t understand why it seems you are saying it’s only for vegetarian cooking.
I don’t think it is only for vegetarian cooking. The reason I put it in is because I was a vegetarian and stir fries were frequent . I just wonder if new buyers will like it and think it is something they will use or if they will think it is a waste of space.
^^^^i wouldn’t think to put one in my kitchen, but I would consider it a nice bonus, unless it’s taking up a huge space.
If it has industrial-strength ventilation and is spotlessly clean (no trace of grease around it), I would be in awe.
That review is short, sweet, and says all you need to know! But nothing can top Pete Wells’ justly famous (or infamous) review of Guy Fieri’s Times Square restaurant (which I believe has, mercifully, closed):
https://www.nytimes.com/2012/11/14/dining/reviews/restaurant-review-guys-american-kitchen-bar-in-times-square.html
So how do you build in a wok? It’s not removable? Is there a link? Or is this an accessory?
Tainted Zantac/ranitidine
Just learned that Zantac (ranitidine) MAY be contaminated with tiny amounts of a potentially cancer-causing ingredient.

I called my CVS pharmacy and they said the rx I had been dispensed was not part of the contaminated batch.
