When I started on CC, it seemed the numbers referred to high school grad year. I didn’t see it related much to college grad year. Now that kids are graduated, I use 1 and 2/S and D to refer to birth order.
When I get to the bottom of a thread I cannot tell what page I am on. I then have to click the right arrow and see if it loads another page. What am I doing wrong?
@rockymtnhigh2 this is one of the more recent “fixes” that isn’t working out for many of us!
A tip…hover over a page number - the actual page number you are on will NOT look shaded - that’s how you know if you can move forward a page.
It’s not the best but is a work around!
I get confused, too!
My professional school refers to us as Class of XX, XX being the year the torture began. Lol. I have to remember that when I put my name on the name tag… I always think it should be the year we were set free!
@abasket Thank you for the tip! This issue is driving me far more nuts than the font did…it was bad, though!
Thank you @abasket . I’ve had the hardest time figuring out if I’m on the last page. Appreciate the tip.
New question:
Why do states sometimes have two towns with the same name?
I’m considering going to a funeral tomorrow in Woodbury, NY in Nassau County on Long Island. When I looked on Google Maps to see how long a drive it would be for me, Google Maps showed me Woodbury, NY in Orange County.
Of course we have zip codes now, but why would a state have two different towns with the exact same name??
Anyone here changed their amazon account password b/c they don’t want their kids to figure out what they will be getting for Christmas?
Hubby does that and I thought it’s odd but it’s a practice he does from thanksgiving until Christmas every year., then he changed it back to the usual PW.
No. But you can archive the order, which I have done.
^^^ That’s a good tip. They can’t see those orders unless they look in the archive?
My kids don’t know my password.
I’m a geezer from back in the day too. Mine are D, S1, and S2.
You have to go into the archive but better yet you have to know how to get there. It is not that lineal.
With Amazon Household, you can set up separate profiles with separate passwords.

Thanks @doschicos !!!
Didn’t know this…
But then…I want to see what my kids’s purchases as well…it’s our credit card. Is there a way that the owner of the account can see everyone’s?
Nope.
Amazon household does only allow 2 of the 10 allowed people to be age 18 or over.
I’m about to buy a pair of Hunter rain boots for my DIL. Does anyone know if they are true-to-size? So if she usually wears a size 8, I should buy her a size 8??
I don’t know how sizing runs on Hunter, but I’ve had very good luck reading the reviews on Zappos re: sizing & fit,
It’s my go-to !!!
@VeryHappy check out Hautelook, I saw they have Hunter boots on sale. My D wanted the tall boot for years. When she finally got them she found that they were too high for her short calves and cut into her knee. Otherwise she wore her true size.
