@doschicos no he’s not. I got it before we got married. This is to authorize if anyone needs to talk to them. (Sorry, realized now I didn’t say that.)

I asked Mr R if he wanted to be the authorized person it but he requested it be my dad instead for now (long story, legitimate reasons).

@romanigypsyeyes : Talk to whoever holds the mortgage and find out what form THEY want. Model forms are not necessarily what a lender in a given state requires.

@AboutTheSame I tried that and Ditech wouldn’t give me a real answer. This was their response: “Please provide a written authorization signed by the customer to: (Address)” I tried calling and they gave me the same answer multiple times. It was like they were preprogramed to give stock answers.

Oh well. I’ll try again tomorrow. Maybe the third person I talk to there will be more helpful.

Ask them if the specific form you found is the one they accept to make that change.

Plumbing question: I need to replace the innards of my toilet. I managed to replace the flapper all by myself, but it turns out that was only part of the problem. The packages and youtube videos make it look easy, is it really?

@dmd77 I replaced a toto toilet’s innards myself. It was easy. FWIW, I am fairly handy at that kind of stuff.

I’ve replaced ours, too. It is not very difficult to do.

When I needed to, HD said buy a new tank with the innards already set up. Then all you’re doing is screwing the tank on. In my case, toilet tank was in stock and maybe $99.
Look at us moms doing plumbing, eh?

FYI that form was the right form for the 3rd party thing. It took another 3 people to get that answer though. Oy

@lookingforward : one piece toilet. So oh well. I may give it a shot. It’s not the only toilet in the house so it’s okay if I screw it up and have to wait for the plumber to come and fix my errors.

The captain just announced “if you are standing that means we are waiting on you. Please take your seat so we can push off from the gate.” About 30 seconds after he says this, a young woman gets up to use the bathroom. Why are people so stupid/inconsiderate/clueless?!

I need a snack.

Ok I thought there was a beauty thread but I can’t seem to find it so I’ll put this here.

I have always had oily skin but my skin has recently turned really dry. I’ve been controlling it with coconut oil pretty well but suddenly my skin has become very itchy on top of it. I don’t think I’m reacting to anything- there’s no hives or anything.

Anyone have suggestions? I have a dermatologist but she’s switching practices and is currently on a two month long vacation :frowning:

Is this on your face or your body?

Stop using the coconut oil. It’s possible something in it is causing a reaction.

My derm recommends Cera Ve as a moisturizer.

@Consolation it’s everywhere. The face is the worst though. Checked with Mr R to make sure he wasn’t using anything new like detergent.

@VeryHappy dumb question but can you develop a reaction to something you’ve used many times before without issue? I’ll stop and try Cera Ve and see if that helps

Coconut oil is also comedogenic, meaning it can clog pores.

It’s one of those things that either works for you or not. Some get itching, some cure itching with it. LOL.

@lookingforward ha!

Also good to know that it can clog pores. I wasn’t aware of that.

Ok I’ll try stopping the coconut oil and try the other lotion and see if that helps  Thanks guys

yes, you can suddenly have a reaction to something that has worked for years.
No real thoughts about what to change to though–

well, I only use a glycerine soap. No fragrances at all. Then Olay regenarist fragrance free --Costco has
sold it until recently and I now get it on Amazon. Started it about your age and it has been a great product–even
my dermatologist likes my results.

Absolutely yes.

Or the weather, stress, diet, the right hydration, etc, can affect.
