“But they don’t defrost well in full bags.”

Psst… flat bags. Defrost blazingly fast!

Yeah, flat. Sometimes.
Come for tomato soup, Ina Garten, before I freeze it in my cup portions, lol.

I buy chicken broth in a 4 box package of 1 cup each. It’s a bit more expensive but I find I don’t waste as much.

I didn’t know such a thing existed. I’ll look for it.

Occasionally, if in a pinch, I use the broth cubes or powder that is then diluted in water.

Chicken broth: freeze it in one cup portions; you can boil veggies and some noodles in it for a fast and light soup.
OR: pour it over the dog’s kibble.
OR: use it instead of water to make rice, polenta, quinoa, or barley.

If the broth is salty, don’t give it to pets. Of course they will lick it clean, but salt and spices from human foods are not good for them.

They sell better than bullion in a jar in Hawaii. It works very well and is delicious!

The 4 pack of broth I buy is Pacific brand

Just saying, the salt content in cubes and Better than Boullion astounds me. I go for no salt or low.

Hmmm, I guess the great flavor in Better than Bullion I get a Costco is from the salt. Oh well, the thing I like is the first ingredient they list is CHICKEN instead of water or a ton of chemicals.

Does anyone know the real deal with Joanna Gaines/FixerUpper? Is the show going to close down? I watch it when it’s on while I’m riding the bikes at my gym, but I’m not a regular. I do like the show though.

Lots of rumors but they seem to be false. They filmed season 5 and she’s not starting a skincare line. https://magnoliamarket.com/dont-believe-everything-you-read/

@1214, why are you concerned? According to Snopes, you have nothing to worry about at present.

@Nrdsb4, I am not particularly “concerned,” - just curious if anyone here knew. They have a lot of stuff going on with their farm, restaurant, bakery, etc. so if she chose to focus on other activities, instead of the show, I wouldn’t be too surprised.

Ok I’m really embarrassed about this one but I have no idea what to do!

I need to put in eye drops several times a day. I’m blind without my glasses (really, legally blind lol) and I have a fear of things going at my eyes.

Anyway, it causes me to miss putting drops in my eyes most of the time. It’s frustrating and I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.

Any tips? Any ideas?

Here’s a video and diagram similar to what I do when I’ve had to use eye drops. See if it is helpful at all.

Google for eyedropper aids.

@doschicos Thanks, dos.

@lookingforward I have never heard of such a thing. Thanks!!

It’s not the best way, but I used to tilt head to side and apply drops to side of eye. I have no problems now with correct procedure.
