thanks to whoever can give me some answers :)

1) It depends on how much you spend. For clothing, food, BART, entertainment, etc. for a month, I'd say about $50-100.

2) Chem 1A is REALLY expensive. They make you buy a clicker for $35, OWL access card for $90-100, textbook for $50-100ish, lab manual/notebook $40ish. R&C course will be around $60 if you buy books from school.

3) It depends on how much financial aid you are getting. Tuition/fees/room/board total up to $22Kish dependng on housing assignment. If you have any financial aid greater than $22K, you will get it deposited to your bank account

Do you really need an OWL access card for chem 1a. I thought it was optional.

Well you don't have to buy it if you want a score of zero for your HW.

Homework is worth 140 points out of a total of 1000 pts. So without OWL your chances for an A are impossible.

You get access to the ebook with OWL so you can opt not to buy the textbook but sometimes it's a lot easier to just have the textbook to read. It's up to personal preference though.

thank you thank you thank you :D

WHAT???? Dang it. I ordered my chem 1A textbook pretty cheap off of half.com w/o the CD. Will this have the OWL code? w.t.f do I do?

You can buy the OWL access separately.

can someone give me a link that shows what books to buy for each class?

www.nedsbooks.com seems like a good website.
