Just got accepted early action as a transfer for fall 2016!!! Now I’m stressing over where to live. Should I join the transfer living community? Is it a good community? Are the RA’s normally chill? Is it fun? Or should I do a random roommate? Im nervous I’ll get stuck with someone who is a dud and had n one to room with. Or do they do random between transfers? Also which sophomore housing is the most fun/ best community?
This is really a prospective students board, I don’t think many current students lurk here. Try the LMU class of 2020 facebook page or the LMU reddit page!! good luck and congrats
I just got accepted as a transfer today as well! I visited last week and one of my tour guides said she lives in the suite style residences (can’t remember the exact hall) and is having a good experience. She wasn’t on the transfer floor but she said a lot of people she knew were there and liked it!
@lindseyyhill1 @lmutransfer How did you guys get your acceptance? I applied as an early action transfer also. I still haven’t heard back though. Do you mind giving your stats also?
@rowenaf I got my acceptance through email and I was surprised how early I got it they said most would go out Match 15th so I wouldn’t be too worried. And I’m a transfer who will be entering as a sophomore. I was at Boston University last semester and end with a 3.35 and am not taking 17 units at community college. Since I have only done a semester at college they wanted my high school stats as well which was a 3.9 GPA and 31 ACT. Good luck to you!!!
@lindseyyhill1 I’m actually applying as a sophomore too! I’m currently at a local community college and I applied with 16 units done! I’m taking another 15 right now. Thanks for the info!
I got accepted at the beginning of March! I had a 3.94 college GPA from a private and a 3.4 HS GPA and 1910 SAT
Thanks for the responses! time to lurk reddit
