<p>Just an update: upon logging in this morning, the “In at Pomona” tab is still there, and nothing under it has changed, but the “Admissions” tab is gone. Good sign?</p>

Now on a less positive note, is there anyone who did not have the new tab last night who cannot even log in this morning?</p>
<p>Hey when did you guys receive your MyPomona user name and password? I applied ED1 and was deferred but I have not received any emails from Pomona concerning my MyPomona account.</p>
<p>I applied RD and received the mypomona log in quite some time ago. It is my initials (middle included) immediately followed by 02011. I would assume that is the same for all, but the e-mail also provided a temporary password.</p>
<p>Your question also raises an interesting question. Those who have the tab - did you apply ED or RD? And if you applied ED, is this the first time you have seen the tab?</p>
<p>lolcats4: question to you – if you got into Pomona, clearly you got in to tons of other great schools. What was your list and what made you tip to Pomona?</p>

<p>What were you told when you called? When I called I was told IT is working on the system, nothig should be read into any of this and that the admissions committee is continuing to meet this week. Of course, Pomona could be saying this to soften the blow so who knows?</p>
<p>Okay, we seem to have received different info. I asked straight out if the inability to sign in was an indication of rejection and she said no and that nothing should be read into this as It was working on the system. Again, maybe they have been told to say this as Pomona doesn’t want an advance inadvertent announcement. I would sure like to think that Pomona would not allow applicants to determne they have been rejected by finding they have been deleted from the system. That does not seem consistent with the way Pomona handles things. If any current students could speak to this, that would be great!</p>

<p>my S applied ED1 & accepted. never received info about an online link, password etc to myPomona. perhaps that’s the case for other ED applicants since the pool is smaller? we did receive a letter acknowledging our deposit, saying trips & housing materials would be available spring. an agenda about admit students days would be welcome since that is coming up soon. good luck to all…</p>
<p>I just got an email from Pomona. Esentially says IT working on problem with portal but the problem with portal doesn’t effect everyone. They state that decisions are mailed and we can no longer check our admission link anymore. They also say that passwords will no longer work.</p>
