I saw this posted on another forum, and thought it was funny as hell:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1469&item=5559938963&rd=1#ebayphotohosting

Creepy and Crazy, I guess.

good grief - I want to sell something stupid on ebay and get thousands of dollars, too!! :)

so, what the hell was in it?!

No clue, it's still undisclosed. What do you think?

Anyone notice that goldenpalacecasino buys like all of this stupid crap on ebay?

Yeah I noticed that. I'll try to come up with something funky. Ya know, something "mysterious."

i liked the slice of bread that went on auction a few months ago

Yep Mother Virgin was it? that was funny

Yeah - not only was it a grilled cheese sandwich with the image of the Virgin Mary on it, but it was five years old! hahaha

the one i saw was just a plain slice of white bread :D

of course golden palace casino bought it - they buy every weird thing - lol

did you guys see the texas snow one? Rmember how it snowed on christmas last year? Well this one snowball was selling around 100 dollars. Another was climbing 250,000 for it!

yeah, now that you said it, golden palace did bid on very strange things. such as:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62054&item=8157047854

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1469&item=5552307127

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=317&item=5953676436

now the envelope.

do you guys remember that pregnant woman who sold ad space on her stomach.. was that golden palace casino as well?

Man I shoulda done the snow thing. The first time I visit TX, and it snows there. Just missed my chance to make big bucks. And I'm about to open a new box of frosted flakes! Here's my second big chance. :p

I had that exact snow idea about five freaking years ago. This E-Bay weird auction stuff is the only thing driving the economy now. The only thing I could think of that noone else has done is to sell your naming rights for a couple years. A la the way stadiums sell naming rights. I still like the one about 4 years ago where the guy sold his soul on EBay for 400 bucks.

For every one successful sale of a stupid item, I'll bet there are 500 stupid auctions where nobody bids

That is why you have to be the trendsetter to be the first to come up with a wacky idea. Or just throw 40 wacky ideas at the wall and see which one sticks.

Serious bidders please.
