Taking SAT II this weekend for Math II, US history, Lit. Expecting 750+s
Classes: 10 APs sophomore/junior year, 5s in all but one. 4 APs this year.
2 yrs French, 3 yrs Latin, 3 yrs woodshop</p>

Debate 11-12
Academic quiz team 9-12
Cofounded religious youth group 10th, organized events and stuff, started in-school weekly services
Studied Arabic for a month in Texas 3 summers ago, studied abroad in Jordan for 2 mos last summer.</p>

<p>Speak French, Arabic, Urdu, if those count for anything
National AP scholar, national merit semi so far
90+ volunteer hours</p>

<p>Not too great at essays, teacher recs won't be amazing either</p>

Penn, Stanford, UChicago all reaches because they’re reaches for everyone. Your academics are fantastic, but gotta kill those essays especially for Chicago.</p>

<p>Cincinnati, Dayton, and OSU safeties. I think you can also get into U Mich, Vanderbilt, and possibly Wash U (Mid/High Matches) but nothing is guaranteed. Penn, Stanford, and U Chicago are considered “reaches” for everyone, but I wouldn’t be surprised if you were admitted to one (I’d say you have a better chance at Penn than the other two).</p>

<p>Ivies are a reach for everybody but your academics are excellent and your EC are decent as long as your letters of rec and essays are up to par you have a good chance of getting into any of these schools with these being safeties Cincinnati, Dayton, OSU, Michigan and the next row except for U chicago being low to mid match</p>

<p>You have some fabulous stats all are pretty much high matches or lower except the ivies and U of Chicago… even for those you are in a stellar place.</p>
