Rank Ivies If you were gaurenteed acceptance.....

UPenn
Princeton
Dartmouth
Harvard
Cornell
Columbia
Yale
Brown

1.Brown
2.Penn
3.Dartmouth
4.Columbia
5.Princeton
6.Harvard (don’t like it at all)
7.Yale
8.Cornell

Brown

Dartmouth

Yale

Harvard

Columbia

…

UPenn

Cornell

This is obviously for Undergrad. Otherwise HYP move up and Brown and Dartmouth move below Columbia.

Cornell
Princeton
Upenn
Columbia
Yale
Harvard

Brown
Dartmouth

Dartmouth

Brown

Yale

Princeton (tied)

Harvard (tied)

Cornell

Penn

Columbia

I would really love to go to any in the top 6 I mentioned, with Dartmouth being my top choice.

This thread is very interesting!

Penn (Wharton)

Brown

Harvard

Yale

Columbia

Dartmouth

Princeton

Cornell

I’m looking for a city school, though, and preferably one with a better sense of community than Columbia, so there are certainly non-Ivies that’s I’d rank- in terms of personal preference, of course- above my numbers 4-8.

Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Columbia
Brown
Penn
Dartmouth
Cornell

Penn
Dartmouth
Brown
Cornell
Yale
Columbia
Harvard/Princeton

I hope you guys aren’t putting Cornell as last just because it ranks lower and has a slightly higher acceptance rate than the other Ivies; as you can see, I put Dartmouth and Brown as my top two choices and they are by no means the “most selective” and highly ranking of the Ivies. I did it because I would want to go to them more than Harvard, etc. (for location, programs, overall feel, etc.).

Notice that this thread is titled “if you were GUARENTEED acceptance”; hence, how hard a school is to get into shouldn’t fully dictate how much you want to go there if you’ve already gotten in.

Hey I ranked Cornell above HYP.

^I wasn’t refering to anyone in particular. I just had noticed a general trend.

Brown

Harvard

UPenn

Yale

Dartmouth

Cornell

Columbia

Princeton

Harvard

Princeton

Yale

UPenn

Cornell

Dartmouth

Columbia

Brown

Columbia- Simply because it’s in NYC. Amazing city, job opportunities.

Harvard

Yale

Cornell

UPenn

Princeton

Brown

Dartmouth- LAC Environment not right for me.

But really, if I got accepted to anyone of those, I would go.

Brown

Yale

Penn

Princeton

Harvard (ughh I must have just visited on a bad day but there were WAYY too many tourists and the tour guide sucked)

Columbia

Dartmouth

Cornell

Harvard

Yale

Penn

Harvard

etc. etc. Doesn’t matter, really. There is only one “H-bomb”

Harvard

Yale

Princeton

Columbia

Brown
