Rank my EC list

I have been looking at EC lists ranking and I decided to do my own (though not nearly as good as those I am seeing) just for the heck of it :)

I will be very thankful if you rank it !!

-Future Business Leaders of America - (9-12, state level awards), Intern for Business Company/Secretary (Summer 11th), UT Business Camp (summer 11th)
-Literary Mag (11-12, Senior Prose Editor), Started Newspaper (10) in School, Writers Club (9-10), several school poetry writing awards, Intern/Writer for Town Newspaper (Summer 11th)
-Varsity XC (11-12), did ROTC previously mainly for Physical Training (where I won several awards, as well as leadership positions) because couldn't get transportation to XC until I started driving.
- American Cancer Society (10-12, 11-12 Event Secretary) , intern for doctors office
- Habitat for Humanity (11 - VP, 12) .... the chapter started my junior year, VERY succesful the first year
- Started/Planned Katrina relief project, also very succesful
- French Club (9-12, 11- Treasurer, 12- Co-VP), participated in a bunch of symposium/contest but only won 6th in state in reading & comprehension
- International Club (11-12, Co-VP)
- Tutoring (9-12): A LOT, especially towards children who are foreign

also.. speak four languages fluently (hence my involvement in tutoring and love for international club/french club) and learning my 5th language (french)

Reason for different ECs 9-10 than 11-12: changed schools...

thanks sooo much! I hope I didn't bore you with my list lol

Well, I think you could rank them better than we could. Which do you spend most time on? Which do you feel most passionately about? Maybe a ranking would be useful if all you had on your college application were a list such as this, but you do have essays, where many people choose to talk about one of their ECs.

That's "quite" on long list, and I think you'll only have a max of 8 lines to put down all your PRINCIPAL activities, which inputted a serious amount of time and effort.

From that list, I don't really see a strong area of interest and commitment. Are you more focused on humanities? Business? Language Arts? International Politics? .........

What languages do you speak?

According to another post of her's, she speaks Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, and English.

hey, i was wondering what you guys did in your chapter of habitat for humanity because i started a chapter at my school last year adn it hasnt been a productive year...any tips?

lol.. i am sorry i said rank.. i wanted to say rate, wow.... maybe i dont know english as well :P

helpmegetin, i will send you a pm

i dont have a set "passion" because i still dont know what i wanbt to do with my life! mainly, though, i love running, getting to know about other cultures/countries, writing, and making a difference. I do not have a passion for business but I like it enough to want to major in it.

margaret, don't worry. you have the most ECs of anyone I know. don't stress :)
