The only thing I know about any of those schools is that BU has a pretty strict alcohol policy and I see a lot of kids from BU at MIT parties because MIT has one of the most lax alcohol and drug policies I've ever seen.

Now it doesn't mean BU isn't a good party school, the parties just happen more often in apartments and MIT frats.

Yeah, as a general rule the schools themselves aren't necessarily important, but how far away from other schools they are is.

LOL!!!!

MIT a big party school? Where did you hear that from?

BU and BC have VERY STRICT alcohol policies but there still are quite a lot of parties at those two schools.

Vandy

BC

The rest are crap for parties.

lol MIT is not partying that much! In fact Caltech & MIT staff encouraged people party by providing parties, beer, and other stuff so that they take a little break from their studies. (this is what I've heard from friends, not sure how much is true, def true at caltech)

I heard MIT students get drunk alone in their rooms, LOL!! Not Kidding

UPenn is supposed to be a really good party school.

And if party translates to getting high, then Brown's good too.

I can only speak of Santa Clara because a friend goes there. He seems to think the party scene is okay. It is a jesuit school...

I go to MIT, and I never said MIT was a party school, I said I see a lot of BU students at the MIT parties I go to who say they go to MIT parties (mostly the frat parties that are on their campus) because of the alcohol policy. And yes, the staff doesn't care about alcohol or drugs that much at MIT, they've become strict for frats after a kid died, but the dorms are left pretty much alone, the security guards and headmasters don't care at all.

I also never said there wasn't parties at BU or BC, I just said they seem to be more often in apartments rather than the dorms. This is my impression from the few BU parties I've attended, and a couple of kids I know who go to BU.

My friend got suspended from BC for a whole year for drinking related stuff
and he was on a full ride!!
so that kinda makes me think that BC might not be the best party school but whenever I've been up there its been crazyy

definitely vanderbilt
