Rank some summer programs/internships for a tentative neuroscience major!

Hey guys, I already have a decent idea of how these programs rank in prestige and college application boost but if you’re knowledgeable please rank them, would love to see what you think.

RSI - http://www.cee.org/rsi/

TASP - http://www.tellurideassociation.org/

UCSB Research Mentorship Program (RMP) - https://www.summer.ucsb.edu/pre-college/research-mentorship-program-rmp

UCSB Summer Research Academies (SRA) - https://www.summer.ucsb.edu/pre-college/summer-research-academies-sra

Stanford SIMR - https://simr.stanford.edu/

Young Scholars Program (YSP) - http://ysp.ucdavis.edu/

Summer Science Program (SSP) - http://www.summerscience.org/home/index.php

UC COSMOS - http://www.ucop.edu/cosmos/

OR Volunteer lab internship at a local university that you obtained yourself as described in this link - https://oso.stanford.edu/files/programs_299.pdf

Personally, I’d say that you missed a good opportunity. If you’re that interested in Neuroscience, then UCSF might actually have the best option: https://neuroscape.ucsf.edu/get-involved/volunteer/

That program is neuroscience, and nothing else. While COSMOS is a great and highly competitive program, as are the ones you’ve listed. Especially when it comes to RSI and SIMR, it does not always mean that it best shows or allows you to explore neuroscience.

The internship offered by UCSF is highly competitive and focuses on neuroscience alone which would give you direct experience and also allow you to come into contact with people who are already working in the field.
