RANK the ACCs

1) UNC
2) UVA
3) NC State
4) Georgia Tech
5) Maryland
6) VT
7) Miami
8) FSU
9) BC
10) Clemson
11) Wake Forest
12) Duke

Tell me that's not your rank?

Yeah...what are you ranking? The only way that list would make sense was if it was the ACC football rankings (and you'd need to move Miami, FSU, Clemson up).

My ranking
1. Duke
2. UVA
3. UNC
4. BC
5. Wake Forest

GA Tech

Miami

Maryland

VT

NC State

Clemson

FSU

Is this academic, or athletic?

Athletic (football wise), it goes:

Miami

FSU

VT

Georgia Tech

BC

Clemson

UVA

NC State

Maryland

UNC

Wake

Duke

Basketball:

Duke

UNC

Maryland

Wake

Georgia Tech

Miami

NC State

FSU

BC

Clemson

UVA

VT

Duke has football? haha

Duke football would finish last in the Ivy League!!! LOL

No they wouldn't.

Ok, that was harsh, they'd finish middle of the pack!

Duke is division I-a, ivies are division II-a. It wouldn't even be a contest.

Yeah, the division II-a teams would beat the division I-a Duke so badly, you're right...it wouldn't be a contest!!!!

wrong. Ivy league football is NOT division II...it is Division I-AA.

In that case, Duke would finish last!!! ha ha

My ranking
1. Duke
2. UVA
3. UNC
4. BC
5. Wake Forest

GA Tech

Miami

Maryland

VT

NC State

Clemson

FSU

i agree with this.

VT is ****ty and should be near the bottom

My mistake, they are division I-AA, but ivies wouldn't stand a chance up against Duke nonetheless.

311GRiff, do you know anything about college basketball??? BC is the number 13 team in the COUNTRY and you have them ninth in the ACC behind FSU and Miami. They were the preseason number two pick by the coaches and they have a pretty good shot to take out Duke and win the whole thing. Funny stuff.

Dude they lost to Maryland, what are you talking about "good shot to take out Duke" lol

Duke would probably lose a few games a year if they played in the Ivy League. I-AA has less depth than IA, as they have fewer scholarships, but they play pretty well. Last year W&M was beating UNC until the 4th quarter, and this year App State only lost to LSU by like 20, and LSU just demolished Miami. The difference isn't as big as you think.

(and in the latest info released from the NCAA, Duke football was the only IA school to graduate 100% of its football players that came to Duke in 1998)

ACC basketball is good. Almost anyone can beat anyone. VTech beat Duke last year, and they almost beat them AT DUKE this year (last second 3 pointer from half court won it for Duke).

How do the lacrosse teams rank? (I know Duke would be #1, no clue about the rest)

GA Tech is not 5th for basketball this year, there is no way. Next year they will be back on top though.

Anyway academic rankings:
