Rank the Ivies from Best to Worst

Just for Gryffon5147.

Algerian Ivy
Persian Ivy
Irish Ivy
English Ivy
Nepal Ivy
Japanese Ivy
Russian Ivy
Common Ivy

Was the horizontal nature of your thread title a Freudian slip? “From Best To Worst”
Wouldn’t a true ranking be vertical in nature?
“From
Best
To
Worst”

Japanese Ivy easily exceeds English Ivy. I am not familiar with Irish though I am sure that Persian is much more beautiful

I’d have to say:
Harvard
Yale
Princeton

Columbia
UPenn

Dartmouth
Brown
Cornell

ITS LIKE I’M REALLY JAPANESE

English Ivy is so much better than Japanese Ivy, it’s not even funny.

However, Persian Ivy should be on the top and Algerian in third behind Russian.

You guys are obviously underestimating Nepal Ivy. So much snow! Beautiful! I also hear that the sherpa profs give you great 1-on-1 attention.

what about poison ivy (I should have a count of how many threads I bring back, and what percentage of those are actually commented on a week later)

I think:
Yale
Pton
Haavaad
Upenn
Brown
Columbia
Dartmouth
Columbia

Yale

everyone else

lol

^^lol no love for Cornell

I’m glad Brown isn’t at the bottom, and I can’t believe they left out poison ivy

my personal ranking for which ones I would want to attend(and yes, i realize it’s an old thread)

Harvard
Princeton
Yale
Penn - Wharton
Dartmouth
Penn - College
Columbia
Brown
Cornell

I agree with the poster above me accept I’d switch Princeton and Yale.

the whole concept of ranking IVYs is just…ugh. i mean, who really cares?

^ agreed plus What aspects of Cornell makes it the “worst” ivy?
Cornell is a little bit easier to get into compared to other ivies since it has a huge student body but still Cornell is one of the hardest school from what I’ve heard and their engineering department rocks and is the top of all the ivies.

Just wondering.

Brown
Columbia
Princeton
Dartmouth
Yale

Cornell

Upenn
Harvard

let’s see you debate about that :)

because Emma Watson is at Brown!

there are a decent number of kids who end up choosing between these schools, and they’re very different places. i think the dumbest mindset is “who cares which is better, because I’d go to any of them!”

personally, i though it had more a state school vibe. it has a contingent of super students, as all Ivies do, but it also has a huge proportion of grinders with average intelligence. it’s really big and sprawling(but is in the middle of nowhere), sorta like Penn State, to the point that everything revolves around the school. i know dartmouth shares the remoteness factor, but dartmouth has so many other pros going for it that cornell doesn’t.

Swedish Ivy
English Ivy
Canaries Ivy
Devil’s Ivy
Boston Ivy
Poison Ivy
Caucasian Ivy
Pastuchov’s Ivy
Azores Ivy

WHAT??? Poison Ivy above Pastuchov’s Ivy?? And English Ivy was the original. How can you put Swedish Ivy ahead? Only losers have poison ivy!! My order:

English Ivy
Crimean Ivy
Swedish Ivy
Azores Ivy
Madeiran Ivy
Canaries Ivy
Pastochov’s Ivy
Irish Ivy
Himalayan Ivy
Caucasian Ivy
Japanese Ivy

Poison Ivy
