<p>perhaps, after Cornell student kill themselves this dilutes the population of unhappy students similar to the discouraged workers and unemployment rate effect</p>

<p>Billcsho, I don’t know how you got the idea and where you obtain your material, but you are misinformed. UChicago is a happy place to be for higher education nowadays if one is fortunate enough to be admitted to go there. </p>

<p>@theluckystar Glad that you clarified it. I have heard it from this forum. It seems that misleading information has been around for a long while. There was even a thread from 2007 asking about it too.
