<p>too bad that study only compiles data up to the year 2000....plus i find it very hard to believe the Economics department at Wisconsin and Ohio St. could be even in the ballpark of Duke's</p>
<p>has anything really changed since 2000? The only thing I can think of is Columbia might have gone up after buying itself some econ superstars</p>
<p>Shows how little you know of academic economics. Wisconsin used to be an absolute powerhouse, but has declined in recent years as the state budget has dried up. Many top economists received their PhD from Wisconsin.</p>
