<p>On my common app I put down a different rank than I actually am now. My rank changed to being number 1 after this semester ended which was a dramatic jump. Will colleges see my rank on my mid year or look at what I had said it was? Should I email the colleges of this change?</p>
<p>They don’t really even look at your self-reported stats – they will refer to your official school transcript/Midyear Report.</p>

<p>Anyway, you should be fine, they’ll see it on your transcript/midterm report.</p>
