Hi.. i was looking at the acceptance reports on a thread and alot of the people who got accepted were top in the top ranks of their schools.. but some of the schools were not very large... i was wondering if rank plays a significant role in the selection process at USC...my class is very large... over 800 students.. and my school is very competitive .. i will probably have 7 aps by the time i graduate and have an uw gpa of 3.7 .. and im ranked in the hundreds.... i am not sure how ranking works because i know many students who are ranked higher than me but do not take any honors... they have mostly regular classes that boost their gpa

Does your school have a weighted GPA? USC looks at the weighted GPA as well as the unweighted GPA.

yea they do… but i dont think its counted in our rank… do you know how much weighted classes usc accepts?
