Why? Are you planning to pick a college based on prestige? I guess you could look at USNews rankings if you care about that kind of thing. I would say they are all about the same.
I definitely don’t recommend letting prestige be your determining factor, as that would be dumb and the universities are pretty different if you’d do some research. Barnard is an all-girl school, btw.
But if I was to list in MY opinion: Columbia, Dartmouth, Georgetown, Brown, Barnard, NYU, Tufts, Boston, Colgate
In terms of prestige in their Econ programs, the standouts are GT, Dartmouth, Columbia, and Brown; the other ones kinda clump together into what I think is second place.
Again. I don’t think the first list matters at all. The major-specific one matters, but not as much as you may think
I don’t know about economics. For IR, Georgetown, Tufts, and Columbia are all top notch. The others may be good as well, but I’m not as familiar with them.
tbh I wouldn’t worry about prestige too much. It’s always about what you do at the college that matters anyway. Also fit should be the biggest factor when choosing a college. If I had to rank tho:
