Hey everybody, just curious about something. I'm applying for Brown, and wondering it it's a bad idea to send in my rap mixtape to their supplement?

Well you’ll certainly stand out! Sure go ahead!

won’t stand out. Lots of people feel some youtube video or CD makes a difference. The truth is the admissions offices don’t have time nor inclination to read/listen/look at the average submissions. The exception is for students with outstanding (concert level) music or visual art skills. Look at Brown’s own suggestions about these “supplemental” submissions – basically don’t bother.

But you be the judge:<a href=“Undergraduate Admission | Brown University”>Undergraduate Admission | Brown University;

well i’m talented, I got accepted to my first rap group, and have been doing club performances during the night. I got some mix tapes, but I don’t rap about drugs and bottle, i’m just all about spitting my soul out. i’m just asking this because colleges want to full perspective of the applicant, and wondering if it’s a good idea. So i’m going to go for it. thx for da advice!
