-3 years cross country (MVP freshman year)
-2 years french club (president)
-1 year FBLA club (went to state)
-1 year debate team (went to state)</p>
<p>-a few honor rolls
-qualified for the csf scholarship</p>
<p>-mentored/tutored a 9 year old autistic boy for a year, to read/write/speak/focus
-made an e-commerce site for someone's product on my own (earthcrossroads.com)
-went to ghana for 2 weeks over the summer, volunteered, took pictures with my SLR, made a portfolio</p>

I see some awards
Length or time in which you tutor is important not just doing for a day and putting it on your app (not saying you did this though)
A lot of colleges honestly don’t like the overseas trips to other countries
All in all decent EC’s solidified with awards.</p>
<p>They think rich parents paid for the trip for the fact it looks good on an app.
Also a lot of people with money do this for the sake of the college app.
Not to many have opprotunities like this and colleges selfishly like a prospect doing work on home turf and not trying to impress them with work in other countries.</p>
<p>Pretty good, I’d say around 6 as well. I think the website thing can be a bit iffy though, seeming as a lot of websites like that are made just by editing pre-made templates by the host. So unless you’ve literally built it using HTML or javascript or some kind of coding that takes skill then I don’t think it’s worth mentioning at all.</p>
<p>portugueseninja: do you think i should mention the website at all? it did take some coding and some software, but most websites do, especially with shopping carts. few websites are created from scratch…</p>
