<p>I’m a born leader but i’m not sure how to put it in my essay since everyone will talk about it. Any STANDOUT essay ideas?</p>

<p>Try applying as a senior for the class of 2012 instead of as a junior for the class of 2011.</p>

<p>As for real tips, I don't have any.</p>

<p>Stating you are a born leader doesn't mean anything. Show don't just tell. You might also work on those leadership positions if you want them to actually believe you are a "born leader".</p>

<p>Yeah, this is only a work in progress. I will apply when i'm a senior. Also i know stating it won't mean anything and i won't state it anyway. Its just for your info. I mean, who doesn't write about their leadership in the penn essay?</p>

<p>tip: if u wanna go to wharton, study like crazy and get an 800 on 2c. :)</p>

<p>Why so much emphasis on math? I am sure traders on the floor of NYSE are not doing trigonometric calculations.</p>

<p>Au contraire, they are conducting high level statistical analysis which is driving their decisions. BTW, most trading does not occur on physical trading floors anymore...most of it is electronic.</p>
