Hi, I was wondering if someone can let me know what are my chances at my dream school…Columbia University

GPA weighted: 107
GPA unweighted: 98
Clubs: Interact club (president); Birthday wishes; mathletes and math olympiad; Baymen club president; mock trial (president) and founder the data science and women inspiring other women. Member of Iranian American society for teens
extracurriculars: volunteer at food drives and town festival activities and breast cancer walks, teach Farsi at my local Iranian school.
Honor societies: President of National Honor Society; Mu alpha theta; Science Honor Society; Foreign language honor society.
I am in Columbia’s Science Honors Program
I attended Columbia’s High School Immersions program two times
I am going to attend Columbia’s Shape program for high schoolers who are interesting in Engineering.
I am in Columbia’s GWC chapter
I created a local event in my town to teach children in elementary school how to program (Tech-athon)
I have only take AP and honors classes since freshman year.

You have many strong qualities and I hope you are a successful applicant but I’d recommend that you give up the idea of a dream school and work to create a solid college list that includes reach, match, and safety schools that appear affordable (find out your parents’ budget and run the net price calculator for each school) and that you would be excited to attend. The people I see who get hurt by the college admission process are the ones who focus on one or two hyper-competitive schools and then don’t get in.

Why no chance? She has perfect stats and extracurriculars for Columbia.

The stats aren’t perfect, the 33 is on the low end for Columbia, but within range, so probably not a big issue. Female engineering will help a lot, so I think your chances are pretty good.
