<p>Hi everyone :) Im an international student currently living in Asia, however i seriously hope to Study in the US hopefully in UC Berkeley or UCLA also i have permanent residency in california so i dont know if that will help as well? Btw money is not a problem
At the moment my school follows the british education system till IGCSES after which we are able to choose from either Advanced levels or The International baccalaureate diploma program
For IGCSEs I did 12 subjects out of which i obtained 6A stars, 4As and 2BS
and for the IBDP i am predicted a
7 for HL ECON
7 FOR HL BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT
6 FOR HL BIO
6 FOR SL ENGLISH
6 FOR SL MATHS
6 FOR SPANISH AB INITIO which gives me a score of 38/42 I also have 2 predicted gce a levels at A grade for maths and economics
My Sat score is 2200
And my ECS
200 Hrs of community service
Basketball captain ( played for 7 years hoping to play for my national team as well this year)
Tennis team ( 2 years)
Table tennis ( 5 years)
Taekwondo and Mixed martial arts ( 2 years)
Debating team ( 2 years)
Maths society ( 2 years)
Economics Prize for 2 straight years at my school which is one of the best in my country
Business studies prize for one year
Also a few certificates in athletics
And ive also taken part in a few leadership programs
Basketball is currently my favourite sport and is the one i plan to focus on for my admissions I hope to go into either economics or finance in university rate my chances please?</p>
<p>Btw IGCSES are exams we take at the age of 14-16 i believe, to demonstrate academic excellence at that particular age and i do not think i am supposed to give a GPA in my application as the counsellor advised against it, anyway thanks for any and all advice :)</p>
